Ranchers Choice Processing opened in early 2026, founded by Mark and Amey Ward after recognizing a gap in quality, accessible, and timely meat processing for Texas livestock producers. The business is built on personal relationships with local ranchers — seeing themselves as partners in ranchers' success, not just a service vendor.
We are a family-owned, USDA-inspected facility (EST. 3541) in Bellville, Texas. Every animal we process is handled humanely, cut to your specifications, and packaged with care — double vacuum sealed and labeled so you know exactly what you're putting in the freezer.
From beef sides and retail boxes to private label packaging and co-packaging partnerships, we do it all — and we do it the right way. Humane handling, full traceability, and cuts tailored to your needs. That's what "Your meat, Your way!™" means to us.

We believe humane handling isn't just the right thing to do — it produces better meat. Low-stress environments reduce cortisol levels in animals, which directly affects meat quality, tenderness, and flavor. Every animal that comes through our facility is handled with care and respect from intake to harvest.
Our processes follow strict USDA and HACCP standards. USDA inspection is on-site at our Bellville facility (EST. 3541).
